About this product
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added as a preservative. The benzyl alcohol stops bacteria from growing, so one vial can be used for several draws for up to 28 days after it is first opened. Plain sterile water is single-use.
It is used to mix (reconstitute) peptides that come as a freeze-dried powder.
- Sealed vial with a rubber stopper
- Contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol
- Store at room temperature, out of direct light
Do not use it if you are allergic to benzyl alcohol. Not for use in newborns. For information only – not medical advice. Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before use.
